Scarce c1910 Rowland Ward booklet, Practical Instructions for Cleaning Mounted Heads, Sporting Trophies, etc. Set with buff grey and textured card covers, containing seven pages which are complete, some loose from the staple binding. Details include the Removing, Brushing & Cleaning of trophies. Notes on the use of Rowland Ward’s famous Insect Death and the Tools Required with an accompanying illustration. Bearing Rowland Ward ‘The Jungle’ to the front cover and publisher to the rear, Walter Pearce & Co, St. George’s Press, Brentford. Interestingly, it is quoted that The British Library’s copy of this seven page booklet was lost through enemy action during the Second World War, although it remains in the library’s catalogue.
