Taxidermy Snow Leopard Skin
SOLD
Superb example of a Snow Leopard skin rug, a fine and rare specimen preserved with a partly-raised head and mounted upon the original backing. The skin is without faults and beautifully presented, the coat of fur remains thick, soft and supple with a natural colouration and markings, the result of being well stored and kept away from sunlight. The tail is complete and all limbs are intact, the paws are positioned showing the pads and claws. The head is stuffed and partially raised from the skin, inset with blue coloured glass eyes and a number of whiskers still remain. The skin is neatly mounted to a padded cotton/canvas backing and finished with a dark blue scalloped felt surround. With Article 10 certificate.
